Connect an Ethernet cable from the Ethernet port on the rear of the MAP1200 into a spare port on either your modem/router or an Ethernet switch. This is for setup only
The MAP1200 will be in DHCP mode by default, so your modem/router will assign it an IP address. To find the IP address and access the web configuration for the MAP1200, you can either:
Login to your modem/router's web interface configuration. The MAP1200 will appear under the "Wired Clients" list, or on the "DHCP Settings" page, or under the "LAN Settings" pages. When you've found its IP address, type that address (i.e. 192.168.1.110or similar) into the address bar on your web browser (Chrome, Safari, IE, Edge, etc.).
Use an IP scan tool (like Advanced IP Scanner) to find the device on your network. In the image below, the MAP1200 is at 192.168.1.110, and if you click the chevron (>) next to the link on the left, it shows you the web interface link below the IP address. Double click on that "HTTP" link to bring it up in your web browser.
The default username and password is admin.
When you log in, you should see a page like this one.
From this page, select the "NetMode" drop-down menu and choose "WIFI(CLIENT)-SERIAL". This allows you to connect to an existing WiFi network.
Click the "Scan" button next to the SSID field.
Your WiFi network should appear in the list, so click the button to choose it, and at the bottom, click "Apply".
This will take you back to the main screen, with your network SSID shown. Choose your encryption type, and enter the password. After you've done that, click "Apply" at the bottom of the page.
The Ethernet connection will drop at that point, and your amplifier will connect via WiFi instead. It may be assigned a new IP address when this happens, so you may need to go back to Step 2 to find it again.
