Ness SIM Cards
If the customer is using a Ness provided SIM card and we end up inserting it to a NEW dialler/unit, then the sim card will need to be reactivated. See attachment for details. If we are simply updating the same dialler to the new version, then it is not affected.
CHECK THE LABEL ON THE BACK OF THE UNIT BEFORE PROCEEDING AND CONFIRM THE CORRECT MODEL

- Next, have the GSM Dialler connected to its supplied power supply unit, and turn ON the 4G GSM unit, on the switch on the back.
- Have the GSM Dialler unit connected to the PC with a USB-C cable. (The cable MUST be a data cable type)
- Click Connect and then click App - -> Boot
Note: If you click connect it will hang on waiting for connection. So you have to hit connect and then App-->Boot. If it disconnects before you hit Start, just repeat the above step.
- The message will display Connected.
- Click Start to initiate flash, wait for the popup.
- The computer should display a successful flash.
Unplug and check the version of the GSM Dialler by turning it OFF (for a few seconds) and ON again. The first screen the GSM dialler will show will be the version number. If it is ending in ADUSUN-USB-016, you are now complete. Repack the GSM Dialler and repeat for the next Dialler.
**If not, the screen may show a 009, if so check all steps and try again. See sample photos below.
